Call for Entries: AIGC Works

The International Student Film and Video Festival (ISFVF) is a featured event hosted by Beijing Film Academy (BFA), integrating international student works’ showcase, creative exchange, academic discourse, cultural promotion, and other functions. The Festival was established in 2001 by Professor and distinguished Director Xie Fei. Since then, ISFVF has been officially included in the Academy’s academic curriculum and is held every autumn in Beijing.

AI technology is rapidly transforming the film and television industry by generating unique and imaginative visual and narrative elements, thereby reshaping creative approaches in cinematic production. For the first time, the “International Student Film and Video Festival (ISFVF)” has established an “AIGC Unit” this year. This initiative aims to create an international platform for university students to explore the cutting-edge applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in film and television art creation. It seeks to enhance the capacity building of young creators worldwide in technical implementation, artistic expression, interdisciplinary thinking, and industrial development, while leveraging youthful creativity to advance in-depth exploration of AI in the film and television field.
