Casting call – Short film

Studenta la master la University of East London, sectiunea de Filmmaking, organizez pentru dizertatie un scurt metraj numit ‘Sanziana – The cursed flower’, avand o durata de aproximativ 15 minute.
Se cauta actori pentru casting-ul scurtmetrajului, ce va fi jucat in limba romana.
Auditiile vor avea loc pe 16-17 martie 2019, iar caracteristicile rolurilor principale sunt:
Femeie (varsta personajului 24-28 ani)
Femeie (varsta personajului 45-55 ani)
Barbat (varsta personajului 20-25 ani)

Fiind un proiect cu bugetul de maxim £800, rolul nu va fi platit, dar se va asigura transportul si mancarea pe durata zilelor de filmare. Dupa editare, scurtmetrajul va fi trimis la festivaluri de film, dar si actorilor in caz ca doresc sa il foloseasca pentru un showreel.

In legatura cu productia in sine, filmarile vor avea loc la inceputul lunii iulie 2019, in Siriu (100 km de judetul Buzau). Se va trimite scenariul cat mai curand posibil, iar ulterior, cand vom stabili zilele exacte de filmare, se va trece prin scenariu cu actorii si li se vor explica viziunea pentru acest proiect si rol, cine este personajul, care sunt setting-ul si actiunea si contextul in care este pus.

Avand in vedere durata scurtmetrajului, perioada de filmare ar dura 4-5 zile pentru cele doua femei in roluri principale si 1 zi pentru rolul barbatului.

Rezumatul scurtmetrajului:

Sara is back to Romania to go on her long-wished expedition with her boyfriend Bogdan. She is travelling in her car to meet him first, but her journey involves her travelling through fairy forest. While traveling her car breaks down at midnight in the forest. While looking for a mechanic she comes across Stella, a woman who lives with her son, Ioan in the forest. She offers Sara to stay at the villa for the night. They both have a glass of wine when they start hearing sounds of people dancing from the forest. Stella and Sara go and watch the ‘dance of the fairies’. While seeing the dance, one of the dancers gives both a yellow flower. Back home Sara puts the flower on the bedside table next to her. Next day Sara wakes up feeling abused and tries to find out what happened the previous night.
