Eoin McAulay, an independent multidisciplinary artist & filmmaker from Ireland, is currently developing his short film Another Day / Children of the Moon, an Irish-Romanian production filming in Bucharest.
This film is part of an ambitious project, The Myth of Flowers Trilogy, a series of deeply poetic, visually rich films exploring love, memory, dreams, and the mythic connection between human souls. Another Day / Children of the Moon is the first chapter—a story of two lost souls navigating the liminal space between dreams and reality, longing and fate.
This is an independent passion project; Eoin McAulay is seeking artists who want to create something timeless, outside the bounds of conventional storytelling. He is looking for artists who understand subtlety, restraint & attention to detail, who understand cinematic poetry & who resonate with the themes of The Sacred Vs The Profane.
Eoin McAulay is looking for actors and key crew members who deeply connect with this kind of cinema:
- Actors who can convey emotion through presence, subtle, restrained gestures, and poetic dialogue.
- Director of Photography who understands painterly compositions, natural light, and cinematic poetry
- Production Designer who can create intimate, dreamlike spaces that hold memory and emotion.
- Sound Designer who can craft atmospheric, ethereal soundscapes that blend music, silence, and natural sounds.
- Editor who understands rhythm, slowness, and meditative storytelling—letting images breathe rather than cutting for speed.
