Researcher – Remote, full-time

Dr Insanity, an established true crime production company making documentaries and bodycam videos for an English-speaking audience, is hiring for paid, full-time remote contractor positions, with the aim of working together long term. All research, scripts, videos and team communication are in English. Full-time hours are required, with the working schedule agreed with the successful applicant. Compensation is discussed individually based on the role and experience.

Researcher – Find suitable true crime cases, review footage and source material, verify facts, and build clear timelines and research notes. We’re looking for strong English, attention to detail, good research judgment and the ability to work accurately with sensitive case material.

Recent graduates from film, media, journalism or related courses are welcome. Current students can also apply if they can commit to full-time work. An interest in factual storytelling and strong written and spoken English are important across all three roles. Case materials can include graphic content.
