The Centre for Applied Human Rights (CAHR), through a grant from the Open Society Foundations, has set up a fund – Arctivists – to support activists and artists across the world responding to the outbreak of Covid-19 and its implications for human rights defenders, activism, and shrinking civic and political space. Paired activists and artists are able to apply for up to £3,000; it is envisaged that most grants will be for between £1,000 and £2,000.

BACKGROUND

The outbreak of Covid-19 has put a strain on governments around the world and is adversely affecting particularly vulnerable communities, activists and human rights defenders, including by further shrinking existing civic and political spaces. For example, in response to the Covid19 emergency, the Hungarian Parliament recently granted PM Viktor Orban the power to rule by decree, in a country that has already witnessed considerable restrictions on democratic spaces; in Colombia, shifting governmental priorities in the wake of the Covid-19 emergency have left rural and indigenous communities unprotected, thus facilitating the targeting of their leaders by illegal armed groups; Chinese activists who denounced the government’s approach to tackling the pandemic have been incarcerated for subversion; Algerian civil society organisations have denounced a government clampdown on anti-regime protesters taking place while the world is distracted by the pandemic. These are only some of the challenges that have resulted from the emergency framework adopted by several governments in response to the spread of Covid-19.

At the same time, the emergency has bred new responses, and forms of both local and global solidarity, that either build on existing, positive official or unofficial responses to the virus or compensate for a lack thereof. For example, media activists in Brazil, Perú, South Sudan and elsewhere are sharing public health information in their communities, in the form of comics, videos or cartoons; civil society organisations across Latin America are encouraging human rights workers to participate in therapeutic sessions where they can share their feelings through art, whether in the form of artefacts, stories or music.

Against this backdrop, and the obstacles to accessing reliable information regarding how responses to the virus are affecting civil society, synergies between activists and artists are more important than ever. For example, art in all its forms amplifies activism and facilitates conveyance of key messages and information, which may compensate for the lack or manipulation of official narratives. Where civic spaces have shrunk, art can provide an alternative venue for activists to broaden their movements and support their work despite curtailed democratic spaces. The imaginative spaces that art offers can bypass traditional barriers that governments may erect in an attempt to stymie civil society activism, for example, by conveying ambiguous or subtle messages. We recognise that the many activists are artists, and vice-versa – as such we will be flexible in how we apply these categories.

OBJECTIVES

CAHR recognises that collaborative endeavours between activists and artists have the potential to provide innovative responses to the current Covid-19 emergency, whether in a reactive, therapeutic or imaginative form. We seek applications from activists and artists to address one or more of the following three objectives:

1. Document, monitor and analyse events in real time.
2. Reflect on wellbeing, both your own and that of your communities/ organisations.
3. Go beyond a reactive response to imagine new, alternative futures. This futureoriented work could assess how crisis and disruption open up new possibilities for creativity and innovation, as well as for regressive and repressive measures, and/or build on positive responses to the virus itself (local and global forms of solidarity).

EXPECTED OUTPUTS

Activists could write a diary, make a weekly podcast, write a blog, etc. Artists could work in their chosen media, to respond to the activist’s contribution and/or to wider developments in their country/region. We are open to innovative suggestions on the nature of the collaboration between activists and artists.

PROJECT PROPOSALS

Activists and artists should apply by presenting a single collaborative project proposal that does not exceed two pages in length and includes the following:

1. A brief profile/bio of the artist(s) and activist(s) involved.
2. A brief description of the project/programme of work, highlighting in particular how it responds to the Covid-19 emergency and its links to activism and civic/political space; which of the 3 objectives set out above it responds to; any safety, security and ethical concerns, and how these will be addressed; whether it builds on existing initiatives or is a new collaboration, and through which media/methodologies it will be carried out.
3. The main beneficiaries and audiences of the project/programme of work and why the methodology/medium is appropriate for the local context.
4. Details of additional sources of funding or contributions.
5. The envisioned output(s) of the project/programme of work, for both the activist(s) and artist(s).
6. The amount of funding you are applying for, and a brief justification for the specific amount requested in the form of a basic budget and justification of resources (subsistence/salary costs can be included). It is envisaged that most grants will be for between £1,000 and £2,000. Additional justification will be required for larger awards, up to £3,000, for example, that the application involves groups of activists and/or artists.
7. One appendix featuring examples of artistic work can be included in the application. The appendix can be additional to the 2-page application.

While applications need to be in English, activist and artist outputs which are in part or completely in local languages are welcomed.

CRITERIA FOR ASSESSMENT

1. Clear description of the link between Covid-19, and responses to the virus, on the one hand, and threats to activism and civic/political space on the other, affecting either the artists/activists making the application and/or their country.
2. Evidence of a strong working relationship between the artist(s) and activist(s).
3. Feasibility and relevance of the project in challenging and difficult circumstances (including consideration of safety, security and ethics).
4. Evidence of innovation and creativity – notwithstanding point 3) above, we are willing to take risks with this fund to support work that is provocative and challenging.

DELIVERABLES

The activist(s) and artist(s) are expected to provide a timeline for outputs in their application, between now and 31 December 2020. The artist(s) and activist(s) are also expected to submit a short joint report (2 pages) detailing the activities undertaken as well as all expenses incurred, by 31 January 2021. TIMELINE

There is no fixed deadline for proposals – applications will be considered on a rolling basis over the coming months. We will endeavour to get back to applicants within 2 weeks. Successful proposals will be selected by a panel that will include CAHR staff and associates from a variety of backgrounds.

Copyright for the outputs remains the sole and exclusive property of the artist and the activist. Terms of reference/contracts will provide CAHR with the limited right to reproduce, publicly display, distribute and otherwise use the expected outputs in relation to CAHR’s work, and as an example of work commissioned through the Open Society Foundations’ grant. Copyright will be addressed in terms of reference/contracts developed with successful applicants.

CAHR will discuss anonymity, confidentiality and other ethical issues with artists and activists as they arise in relation to specific projects.

In the current Covid-19 pandemic with serious consequences, especially for artists and cultural workers, direct and immediate help is needed at various levels. On this occasion, the Miller-Zillmer Foundation invites you to apply for a three-month artist grant for audio and visual projects with media/digital access. The place of work is – in accordance with the situation – your own studio. The call for a grant has been set up in response to the unexpected crisis. The current exceptional situation brings artists and cultural workers not only to existential limits, but also to create new working spaces on a digital/media basis, in order to constructively counteract not only social isolation but also to contribute to global solidarity. The Miller-Zillmer Foundation is looking for three to four audio-visual artists, preferably living in different countries, who would like to work together on an artistic project across borders and make it accessible online on a regular basis. The topics should be in the field of audio visual art and social relevance. Funding includes a monthly grant of 1000€ per participant for the maximum duration of three months and an online platform for publication.

Requirements for a stipend are:

• applicants must be shown to be acutely affected by the current measures to control the Covid-19 virus in their professional activity as artists

• other public or private solidarity systems do not apply or do not apply at short notice and confirm this in writing. The following sentence must be signed separately: „I hereby confirm that in the current situation my livelihood cannot be guaranteed by relatives.”

• Applicants must declare their willingness to process and store their submitted documents/ materials in accordance with the DSGVO With this working stipend we would like to support artists who currently have no income or financial support from other sources. For this reason, applicants who already receive (or will receive) grants will not be considered.

The application for support should be submitted in writing to the Miller-Zillmer Foundation.

Every year AFIELD launches an open call for its mentorship programme to support three emerging artists and cultural practitioners engaged in a long-term social endeavour that benefits a community.

Each candidate will be required to submit an application online, through which they will be able to present their personal vision and motivation as well as the social impact of their initiative.

The three selected applicants will be granted $1500 of seed funding to develop their initiatives and will receive advice from a mentor, chosen with them within the AFIELD network composed of past fellows and advisors. Based on a participatory grant making model, applications will be evaluated by the same AFIELD network.

The mentorship is an 18 month peer-to-peer learning programme that is tailored to each individual and project. It is meant to encourage and support young initiatives in their initial development. Each mentee will be accompanied by a mentor from the AFIELD network who, through regular conversations, will provide advice and feedback. This could concern the mission, the impact, and the strategic development of the project within its specific community.

Datorită situaței dificile prin care trecem și la solicitarea concurenților, Casa de Cultură a Studenţilor Bucureşti prelungește perioada de înscriere la Concursul Național de Fotografie pentru Tineret, ediția XXIV, până pe data de 10 aprilie 2020.

Înscrierile se pot efectua în continuare, on-line, prin intermediul adresei de e-mail paulbordas@yahoo.com, cu lucrări în cele trei secţiuni ale concursului: patrimoniu cultural, peisaj natural şi wildlife.

Pot participa la concurs fotografi cu vârste de până la 35 ani.

Reamintim componența juriului pe cele trei categorii: secțiunea patrimoniu cultural: Alex Axon, Alin Popescu, Domnica Macri; secțiunea peisaj natural:

Teatrul Apropo organizează un Call pentru susținerea producției de spectacole inovative, în cadrul Ediției a Zecea a Festivalului Bucharest Fringe ce se va desfășura în București între 9 și 18 Octombrie 2020.

Așteptăm propuneri artistice inovatoare din partea artiștilor tineri și consacrați, cu accent pe inter și multi-disciplinaritate, pe dialogul între diversele forme de expresie scenică și punerea în valoare a unor teme noi pentru scena performativă. Echipa de selecție va alege două proiecte câștigătoare, care vor fi susținute financiar și care vor primi spațiu de repetiție și reprezentare în cadrul Teatrului Apropo. Proiectele alese vor trebui să fie finalizate și să aibă Premiera în cea de-a Zecea Ediție a Festivalului Bucharest Fringe, urmând ca ulterior să intre în stagiunea curentă a Teatrului Apropo.

Condiții de participare: pot participa absolvenți de studii superioare și/sau cursuri de specialitate, fără limită de vârstă. Propunerea de proiect poate avea orice temă, poate circumscrie oricare arie a artelor performative (teatru, dans, multimedia, performance, instalație, muzică, fotografie și arte vizuale ș.a.) și poate propune orice tip de echipă artistică sau formulă spectaculară, dar toate proiectele vor fi supuse criteriilor de selecție ale Call-ului după cum urmează:

1. Originalitatea – măsura în care proiectul propus este inovator, multi și interdisciplinar în formă și/sau conținut. Vor fi favorizate acele proiecte care propun teme și/sau abordări noi, dar și acele proiecte care vizează interpretări sau reinterpretări originale ale unor teme sau texte clasice.

2. Debutul Artistic – vor fi preferate acele proiecte ale unor artiști aflați la început de carieră, fie că este vorba despre unul sau mai mulți dintre membrii echipei.

3. Sustenabilitatea – probabilitatea proiectului de a răspunde exigențelor mediului teatral independent pe termen mediu și lung (buget, coeziunea echipei; numărul de membri; proiecte de succes anterioare).

Condiții de participare:

1. Ne spui în linii mari ideea ta de montare și de ce ai ales textul (2-4 pagini în format word, times new roman 12, cu diacritice).

*2. Ne trimiți sinopsisul textului de spectacol, schițe de scenografie și prezentarea pe scurt a echipei.

*3. Ne faci un deviz estimativ – bugetul total estimat al producției și modul în care va fi cheltuit acesta. Bugetul recomandat este între 5.000 și 12.000 LEI.

We invite artists and scientists who are interested in fostering interdisciplinary creative, scientific, and technological dialogue to bring their projects to life together with the staff of ITMO University.

We invite artists and scientists who are interested in transdisciplinary artistic, scientific and technological dialogue. We welcome diverse interpretations, innovative concepts and ideas. Ministerul Culturii a lansat astăzi, 27 martie 2020, proiectul de finanțare ACCES Online 2020, dedicat exclusiv sectorului privat, un instrument de susținere financiară a proiectelor culturale, care pot fi diseminate exclusiv în mediul online. Proiectul a fost gândit pentru a veni în sprijinul artiștilor care în această perioadă nu își mai pot desfășura activitățile culturale cu public. Din acest motiv, Ministerul Culturii a decis ca, anul acesta, sesiunea anuală de finanțare prin Programul ACCES să fie dedicată operatorilor culturali din zona independentă care au capacitate de a disemina lucrările lor în mediul online.

„Programul ACCES Online 2020 reprezintă una dintre măsurile pe care Guvernul României, prin Ministerul Culturii, a dezvoltat-o pentru diminuarea impactului negativ asupra sectorului cultural grav afectat în această perioadă. Am încredere că sectorul independent va da dovadă de creativitate și inovare. Este primul apel de finanțare pe care îl lansăm la Ministerul Culturii în această perioadă de criză și invităm exclusiv domeniul privat să vină cu propuneri. Prin astfel de inițiative vom contribui la protejarea sectorului cultural-creativ românesc și la asigurarea continuității activității pe timpul stării de urgență. Sunt absolut convins că această perioadă dificilă prin care trecem va genera schimbări majore pentru viitor în modul de abordare a culturii, prin accelerarea transformării digitale și câștigarea unui nou public”, a declarat Bogdan Gheorghiu, Ministrul Culturii.

Proiectele depuse în cadrul programului ACCES Online 2020 trebuie să se încadreze în domeniile: teatru, muzică, dans, arte vizuale, patrimoniu imaterial. Suma alocată pentru finanţarea sesiunii de selecţie este de 1.000.000 lei. Suma maximă care poate fi solicitată pentru un proiect/acțiune culturală este de 50.000 lei. Pentru a fi eligibile, ofertele culturale depuse în cadrul Programului ACCES Online trebuie să se desfăşoare în intervalul 30 mai – 31 august 2020. Data limită pentru transmiterea dosarului de participare este 30 aprilie 2020.

h) Supervizează şi participă la predarea locaţiei, la terminarea filmării: verifică starea locaţiei (ca această să fie identică cu starea de dinainte de filmare), aduna eventuale obiecte uitate în locaţie;

The eight emerging talents will participate in a 3 days workshop before attending Les Arcs, where they will meet and introduce their project to industry professionals during the Coproduction Village. Les Arcs Film Festival offers: transport and accommodation at Lyon and Les Arcs, an industry accreditation, some meals, for the selected talent, accommodation and accreditation at Les Arcs for one producer.

T-PORT PARTNERSHIP Within the frame of the T-Port, tportmarket.com, partnership (online market for student & short films, for the use of industry professionals), a project will be selected to the Talent Village among the projects who applied through T Port.

Twice annually — respectively for the months of April and November — , the Bibliothek Andreas Züst offers three studio residency stipends. The length of stay is a total of four weeks. Application for the Studio Residency Stipend is open to national and international cultural workers (individuals or teams of up to a maximum of four persons) across disciplines — visual arts, literature, new media, music, theatre, design, architecture, film, photography, and art-related disciplines. For the stipendiaries, the Alpenhof panorama lodge will provide for accommodations. Applicants must submit a statement specifying their specific interests and describing their motivation in seeking a residency. The Bibliothek Andreas Züst is especially seeking projects that deal with the library as a whole or one of its sub-areas. The Studio Residency Stipend program is to be considered in the tradition of libraries as places of knowledge in the sense of diversity. In short: the residency should entail research about what constitutes the fabric of our culture and also what goes beyond it.

Application deadlines are respectively 30 April for a residency during the following November, and 30 September for a stay during the following April. Selections for the studio residency stipends take place through a panel consisting of representatives of the Bibliothek Andreas Züst as well as an external jury. Acceptance and rejection notices will be sent respectively by the middle of July / middle of December. Alege o temă și propune o lucrare în 48 de ore. Onorariul artiștilor: 300 de euro.* *Autorii proiectelor acceptate vor primi un onorariu fix (flat fee) de 300 euro brut.

Teme propuse:

#responsabilitate Criza pe care o trăim în aceste zile ne arată mai clar decât oricând cât de importantă este responsabilitatea individuală. Fiecare contact pe care îl avem, fiecare regulă nerespectată, fiecare gest de ignorare a gravității situației actuale au un impact enorm. Singura noastră șansă de a limita efectele pandemiei este de a respecta regulile de distanțare fizică, de izolare și carantină, astfel protejându-ne și pe noi și pe ceilalți.

#împreună În momente în care distanțarea fizică e necesară, avem nevoie să ne simțim împreună: să fim alături de cei singuri, să le transmitem părinților noștri și celor dragi că le suntem aproape, să le sărim în ajutor celor care au nevoie de el, să fim generoși. Avem nevoie acum să simțim că aparținem aceleiași comunități, că facem parte dintr-o rețea interconectată de bunăvoință și solidaritate.

#eroi Sunt oameni de care depinde ziua noastră de mâine și a celor mai vulnerabili dintre noi. Ne gândim la eroii cunoscuți sau anonimi ai acestor zile – cei care nu au voie să stea acasă, cele care stau nopțile în fața calculatorului sau în atelier, cei care se trezesc primii. Cei care își pun la muncă ingeniozitatea sau puterea de producție, cele care donează sau care duc alimente celor izolați, cei care se asigură că avem acces la alimente și medicamente. Suntem alături de ei, le oferim susținere, recunoaștere și respect.

Scurt ghid al lucrărilor:

Pot fi din sfera artelor vizuale, artelor media, artelor perfomative, muzicii, literaturii etc.;

Formate potrivite: afișe, animații video, filme, muzică, texte literare etc. Sunt binevenite formate inovatoare;

Lucrările pot adresa grupuri țintă diverse, în special pe cele mai vulnerabile în criza COVID-19, alte categorii vulnerabile, persoane cu acces redus la internet etc.;

Lucrările ar trebui să fie ușor diseminabile pe scară largă, în medium online sau offline;

BASES OF THE CALL FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE VI INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST “ALICANTE”

Club Fotográfico Alicante (CFA), in collaboration with Alicante City Council (Department of Culture) is pleased to invite you to participate in their sixth International Photographic Contest in Alicante.

Participants

This contest is open to amateur and professional photographers from all around the world.

Theme

Free topic. The theme of the photographs is open.

Format

Digital.

Works to be presented

• Collections: four photographs about a common thematic unity.
• General individual photos: up to three photographs about different topics.
• Local categories: up to three photographs on each one.
• Mobile: up to three photographs on each one.
• Any photo could be presented as an individual or as a part of a collection, but it cannot be granted more than one award.
• The photographs must not have obtained any prize at any other competitions before the admission date.
• The color technique is free: black-and-white or color.

The awards will be divided into the following categories:

Collections category:

Three awards to the best assessed photographies taking into account the quality and the thematic unity of the 4 works of each collection:

– First prize: 1000 € and Golden Medal from CEF.

– Second prize: 600 € and Silver Medal from CEF.

– Third prize: 450 € and Bronze Medal from CEF.

Individuals category:

Fifth awards to the best assessed photographies:

– First prize: 500 € and Silver Medal from FLF.

– Second prize: 400 € and Silver Medal from FLF.

– Third prize: 300 €. And Bronze Medal from FLF.

– Fourth prize: 250 € and Honour Diploma from FLF.

– Fifth prize: 200 € and Honour Diploma from FLF.

Local awards to citizens from Alicante city municipality category:

• Awards to the best individual photographies by citizens from Alicante city Municipality:

– First prize: 300 €.

– Second prize: 200 €.

Two awards to photographies taken with mobile phones:

– First prize: 150 €.

– Second prize: 100 €.

Participants can only aim for one cash award, which will be subject to the tax law in force, and the withholding legally established will be applied.

The winners must be up-to-date in complying with the fulfillment of tax obligations and towards Social Security imposed by the current dispositions

The only way of participation is via Internet (no other way will be accepted). Registration, photography submission and participation fee payment must be made by following the corresponding instructions in our website: clubfotograficoalicante.es (You should follow the steps provided by the web application)

Size and presentation

All images should be in JPG format, 1920 pixels on the widest side. The sRGBcolour space is recommended. Files cannot be over 1 Mb. Finalist will be asked for improved resolution in order to print their works for the exhibition.

Participation rights

A participation fee of 14 € also includes a digital catalogue of the winning collections, individual photograph winners and the finalist works, to be sent via Internet.

The entry fee will be paid via PayPal (the only payment mean accepted) by completing the application form in our webpage: clubfotograficoalicante.es following the instructions that appear on it.

Citizens from Alicante city municipality and Alicante province who aim for the local award have to send the data of their postal address to the e-mail: concurso.internacional.cfa@gmail.com

Winners will be asked to prove that information.

Jury

The members of the jury will be appointed by the organizers of the contest. All of them must be of renowned prestige in the photographic field. Their last decision cannot be appealed.

Works receiving an award

All works receiving an award will become part of the CFA photographic library. The finalists and winners authorize the organizers of the contest to reproduce the photographs for any purpose free of charge. Also, finalists and winners authorize the enlargement and printing of finalist photos and the winning photos for display. The organization will state the author’s name on all reproductions. Contestants will not permit any third party to have any sort of claim over submitted photographs.

The contestants are responsible to ensure that there are no third party rights or claims of image copyright.

Exhibition and digital catalogue

With the aim to offer a wide circulation of the the winning images, there will be an exhibition from 2th of June to 31st of August 2020 in the Municipal Exhibition Hall located in “Centro Municipal de las Artes”, Alicante, or in any other Municipal Exhibition Hall appointed for that event. Every image displayed will credit the author’s name.

A digital catalogue containing the winning images of the contest will be published. A copy of the catalogue will be sent to participants upon payment of the entry fee.

Additional Notes

Should any problem arise and not be resolved by the above mentioned rules, then it will be resolved by the organization itself. Award decisions are final and cannot be appealed. By entering the competition participants agree to the full terms and conditions of the above mentioned rules.

Files will not be returned and will be kept for one year in the event of any possible claims. Works not receiving an award will be destroyed. The works of each participant will be presented to the jury in the order requested by the participant.

Asociaţia Acasă la Hundorf lansează în 2020 ediția a IV-a a Şcolii de-Acasă (Hundorf), un program de rezidenţe artistice şi întâlniri formatoare destinat tinerilor artişti aflaţi la început de carieră. Programul se concentrează asupra libertății de creație și procesului creativ al artistului în comunitate. Oferim timp și spațiu artiștilor pentru a-și identifica şi întări individualitatea și facilităm întâlniri și conexiuni între aceștia și comunitatea-gazdă.

Proiectul nu are o temă impusă, ci fiecare dintre artiștii selectați își va organiza perioada de rezidență așa cum consideră. Încurajăm propunerile de proiecte ce
includ acțiuni îndreptate spre comunitate, de exemplu: prezentare work-in-progress, atelier, cercetare artistică împreună cu membri ai comunității, intervenții artistice în spațiul public etc. Pornind de la nucleul conceptual al proiectului “Acasă – oameni, locuri, întâmplări”, ne dorim ca rezidența să rezulte în întâlnirea lui Acasă al fiecăruia dintre noi — al meu, al ei, al nostru — cu Acasă din Hundorf. Pentru noi, Acasă înseamnă locul unde te retragi în tihnă pentru a chibzui, pentru a (te) căuta, pentru a te pregăti să ieși în lume. Acasă este locul de libertate maximă, spațiul perfect pentru joacă și experiment. Nu în ultimul rând, Acasă este locul de întâlnire dintre generații, unde ne cunoaștem și putem discuta liber. Deadline extins pentru înscrierile la cea de-a șasea ediție a Bursei „Alex. Leo Șerban”, acordată în cadrul Festivalului Internațional de Film Transilvania (29 mai – 7 iunie).

Proiectele pot fi depuse de către regizori și scenariști, jurnaliști și critici de film până pe 27 martie (inclusiv).

Pe lângă Bursă, o menţiune specială în valoare de 1.000 de euro – oferită de Conceptual Lab şi TIFF – va recompensa performanţa unui actor român cu vârsta de până la 35 de ani, care s-a remarcat într-un scurtmetraj sau un lungmetraj lansat în 2019.

Asociația Secvențe invită producătorii și realizatorii de film din România la înscrierea pentru preselecția de scurt-metraje a programului Romanian Short Waves 13 . Programul va fi prezentat în perioada 17 – 23 mai 2020, în secțiunea Short Film Corner, din cadrul celei de-a 73-a ediții a Festivalului de Film de la Cannes, fiind prevazuta si o proeictie intr-una din salile Palatului Festivalului .

Companiile care au experiență în producția de scurt-metraje și au obținut rezultate la marile festivaluri pot propune UN TITLU care va fi selectat automat. Pentru filmele de școala și cele ale companiilor aflate la debut se va face o selecție de către un juriu format din profesioniști din industria filmului românesc. Romanian Short Waves acceptă și scurt-metraje documentare.

Pentru a fi incluse în preselecție, filmele participante trebuie să îndeplinească următoarele condiții:

1. Ficțiune – durată maximă de 20 de minute (un singur scurtmetraj/ regizor)
2. Documentar – durata maximă de 24 minute
2. Produse după data de 1 ianuarie 2018
3. Subtitrate în limba engleză sau franceză

Anuntul scurt-metrajelor selectionate se va face pana pe data de 30 aprilie 2020.
Realizatorii scurt-metrajelor selecționate vor trebui să prezinte, până cel târziu la data de 03 mai , o variantă pentru upload de maxim 3 Gb, conformă cu cerințele organizatorilor.

Lansată în anul 2004, secțiunea Short Film Corner oferă producătorilor şi regizorilor români posibilitatea de a-şi prezenta filmele selecţionerilor de festivaluri, agenţilor şi cumpărătorilor din industria de film din intreaga lume. Short Film Corner este conceput ca o piață pentru filmele de scurt-metraj, iar participarea nu echivalează cu o selecție în cadrul secțiunilor competitive ale Festivalului de Film de la Cannes.

La ediţia din 2018 au fost înscrise 2.800 de scurtmetraje din 102 de ţări, scurtmetraje care au înregistrat peste 32.000 de vizionări în cadrul proiecţiilor din săli şi al bibliotecii virtuale.

Alături de participarea la Short Film Corner, scurt-metrajele selecționate la edițiile din anii trecuți au fost proiectate și Noaptea Institutelor Culturale si alte evenimente destinate promovarii scurt metrajelor

Taking place in Zurich every year, the Zürcher Theater Spektakel is one of the most renowned international festivals of contemporary performing arts. Street art is an integral part of the programme, with its own stages including a bar and an info desk. The Zentral Stages are open air stages (one of them roofed) located at the centre of the festival site.

The festival has opened applications for its curated programme. Suitable genres are: traditional street art, physical theatre, nouveau cirque, puppet theatre, clowning, performance, dance, and other similar acts. Unplugged concerts are also possible. Performances can be up to 45 minutes in length.

Theater Spektakel can contribute to travel costs and provides a pitch for the artist’s camper or simple accommodation for the night following their confirmed performance. The fee for the performance is subject to agreement, and will be either a fixed fee or pass the hat arrangement.
