Eurimages Calls For Proposals 2024

For several years, the Eurimages Fund has collaborated with external partners for the presentation of specialised awards or the sponsorship of events in the framework of its various activities.

As the current cycle of these partnerships ends in 2023, Eurimages is launching calls for new proposals or expressions of interest for the period  2024-2026.

Managers of international film events (festivals, markets, professional events etc.) are invited to download and carefully study the specifications of the 6 calls below before submitting their proposal(s) using the link indicated on this page. Deadline: 11 April 2023

  • The Eurimages’ Audentia Award was created to encourage women in filmmaking in their ongoing careers by giving them extra financial support for their upcoming films based on the quality of the film screened at the selected festival. Details here
  • Sponsorships Promoting Gender Equality – Eurimages receives regular requests, which take various forms, for the financial support of projects, initiatives and events aimed at promoting gender equality and international co-operation within the film industry in exchange for high visibility for the Fund in the activity. – Details here
  • Eurimages Co-production Development Award – Click here to consult the terms and conditions of the call for proposals to select the co-production markets that will present the Eurimages Co-production Development Award as of 1 January 2024 for a maximum period of three years (2024-2026).
  • the Eurimages Board of Directors adopted in December 2022 the creation of two Eurimages New Lab Awards: the Innovation Award for experimental projects in development and the Outreach Award to promote public awareness of experimental projects at the end of production or in post-production.   • Sponsorhips – the promotion programme also intends to promote the Eurimages Fund through partnerships with initiatives that share its objectives and contribute to its visibility. Details here
  • Eurimages Green Co-production Awards. The objective of these awards is to reward international co-productions that have managed to combine sustainable production and artistic quality. They will be open to feature-length fiction, animation and documentary films. Each prize will be endowed with €10,000. The present call for proposals aims at selecting the three film festivals, markets or events which will host these awards for the years 2024 and 2025 and potentially prolonged to 2026. Details here
