Fellowship opportunity in immersive technologies

At the Innovation Center of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, Hungary the Immersion and Interaction Hub is looking for 2 new international fellow:

  1. We have one fellowship opportunity in immersive technologies, where the MA (or PhD) researcher would conduct research in areas related to Immersive Technologies; we are primarily looking for project proposals in one of these fields: Health & Well-being or Digital Habitat. During the fellowship program the researcher is expected to complete at least two research papers for presentation at (international) conferences and/or for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. The project is also expected to contribute towards HCI practices, and the researcher should seek practical solutions to the identified problems.   2. We also propose another fellowship opportunity in the field of speculative design for PhD graduates. For this we encourage applications in the field of health & well-being that can answer the following question: what future scenarios can we imagine that could foster a more personalized healthcare? How can future scenarios help us to understand medical technology and its effect on us, or how can we create more data-driven but humanized medical technology? For both positions relocations to Hungary is necessary. The expected projects’ length are between 18 or 24 month, depending on the proposed project’s needs.
