LES ARCS INDUSTRY VILLAGE DECEMBER, 12-15 2020
500 Industry professionals (producers, distributors, sales agents…) from all over Europe, gather for 3 days of business and networking in one of the world’s most beautiful ski resorts in the French Alps! The Industry Village is composed by the following events: COPRODUCTION VILLAGE – A European coproduction market of 20 feature projects in development; TALENT VILLAGE – Created from the former Film School Village, the Talent Village aims at encouraging the rise of a new generation of daring and ambitious directors, as well as accompanying them in the journey of their first feature film. The eight emerging talents will participate in a workshop at La CinéFabrique film school in Lyon, before attending Les Arcs, where they will meet and introduce their project to industry professionals during the Coproduction Village; WORK IN PROGRESS – A screening session presenting extracts from 14 films in post-production carefully selected throughout Europe and looking for financiers, sales agents, distributors or complementary funds; ALPINES REGIONS FOCUS – Our guest countries this year being the Alpines Regions: Switzerland, Austria and Alpine Italian Regions including Piedmont, South Tyrol and Aosta, a special focus on those countries’ cinema and funding/productions will be held through conferences and case studies, AND ALSO NETWORKING AND FUN! Industry parties, cocktails and the famous Wine, Oyster and Cheese, feet in the snow, with a magnificent view on the valley!
GENERAL RULES FOR APPLICATIONS TALENT VILLAGE: main criteria for applying: the director must have a European country nationality ; the director must have directed at least one short film, and provide a screening link; the director must have a first feature film project in development; the project can be either attached to a producer, or not; the online application must be done in English, but attachments can be sent in English or French.

Mandatory attachments : Long Synopsis (3 to 5 pages) and Director’s note
Complementary attachments (non mandatory): Draft of the script; visual elements of the project; any other document the applicant would find useful to attach
The eight emerging talents will participate in a 3 days workshop before attending Les Arcs, where they will meet and introduce their project to industry professionals during the Coproduction Village. Les Arcs Film Festival offers: transport and accommodation at Lyon and Les Arcs, an industry accreditation, some meals, for the selected talent, accommodation and accreditation at Les Arcs for one producer.
T-PORT PARTNERSHIP Within the frame of the T-Port, tportmarket.com, partnership (online market for student & short films, for the use of industry professionals), a project will be selected to the Talent Village among the projects who applied through T Port.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS May 15th
CREDITS In case of selection to one of the sections of the Industry Village, the representative of the project commits to include the logo Industry Village on the ending credits and the film poster. Logo that we will provide on request.
