Open Call – Film O’Clock International Festival
Students who have completed a fiction, animation, or documentary short film in 2025 or 2026 are invited to submit their work to the 6th edition of the festival. We are eager to discover emerging voices, bold stories, and authentic perspectives that reflect today’s world with sensitivity and clarity.
The festival will take place April 16–19, 2026, simultaneously across 12 countries, spanning two time zones: Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, and South Africa. Submissions are open exclusively to short films where the main country of production is one those listed above.
Selected films will be presented through simultaneous screenings in cinemas and cultural venues in each participating country. These screenings will be followed by online Q&A sessions, streamed into the festival’s physical venues, fostering a shared cinematic experience and an international community of audiences and professionals.
The competition will award:
- Audience Award – 5,000 RON (gross value, approximately 1,000 EUR)
- Jury Award – 5,000 RON (gross value, approximately 1,000 EUR)

Film O’Clock International Festival promotes diversity, intercultural dialogue, and contemporary creativity, while actively supporting the international visibility of Romanian culture.
