OPEN CALL: Labour in a Single Shot is starting with a unique video production workshop!–> Deadline: July 25th

We are looking for filmmakers, video artists and film students to document various contemporary forms of labour (paid, unpaid, material or immaterial, traditional or entirely new) in order to produce videos of 1 to 2 minutes in length, each taken in a single shot.The workshop, co-directed by Antje Ehmann and Luis Feduchi, will include research as well as practical work and it will be held between August 27 and September 15, at the National University of Theatre and Film Bucharest. A selection of the films made during this workshop will be on view in an exhibition of this project that will take place in Timisoara as a collateral event of Art Encounters Biennial 2021 and a further exhibition is planned for 2022, at Rezidența BRD Scena9 in Bucharest.
