The aim of the festival PERFORM PERFORM is to create a platform for experimentation and exchange for the local performance scene, and to think – by using an interdisciplinary approach – performative art afresh. Hence, on the one hand, the possibility of exchange between experts and emerging artists is being created, on the other hand the limits of the medium performance are being tested. Within PERFORM PERFORM performance will be understood as a contemporary medium of expression and a bridge between different disciplines ( performance / music, performance / language, performance / theatre, performance / dance, performance / theory ). The heterogeneous approaches towards the performance of each artistic work as well as the focus on interdisciplinarity create the festivals character.

The deadline for submissions is 15 April. Part funding and board and accommodation is available. More details and info on how to apply here.
