TAIFAS – FILM RESIDENCY
TAIFAS- The Balkan Film and Culture Festival, taking place October 13-19, 2025, in Timișoara, Romania.
About TAIFAS:
TAIFAS is a festival dedicated to arthouse and Balkan cinema, organized by Contrasens Cultural Association and Bad Unicorn. It brings together film, literature, music, and gastronomy to create a rich cultural experience while fostering dialogue and supporting emerging filmmakers.
FILM RESIDENCY:
The TAIFAS – Balkan Film and Culture Festival offers an International Film Residency Program for young filmmakers under 30 from Central or Eastern Europe. The residency provides practical workshops, mentorship by film director Ivana Mladenovic, and opportunities to develop work-in-progress projects in a creative environment. Participants will receive accommodation, transportation, and access to festival screenings and events, with the application deadline set for May 1st, 2025.
