Nice Dance Film Open Call
„Un Festival c’est trop court!” European Short Film Festival of Nice, France was first launched in 2000. It has become over the years a central meeting point for young European creation in the field of short films. The Festival has also been able to anchor itself in the cultural landscape as a flagship event of the cinema season on the Côte d’Azur.
Every year, it brings together the best of emerging short film authors through many competition programs.
In 2018 for its 18th edition, Festival artistic director Laurent Tremeau asked choreographer and film author Eric Oberdorff to create and curate a dance films’ selection. Eric decided to name it Nice Dance Film.
