The Istanbul Fringe Festival opens an inspiring and creative space for performing arts artists from around the world. For eight days, artists and audiences come together for performances, workshops, gatherings, and other unique events.
The 8th edition of the Istanbul Fringe Festival will take place from September 19 to 26, 2026.

Istanbul Fringe Festival ’26 will showcase dance, theater, and performance art, as well as workshops, talks, and parties. The festival provides a physical platform for both local and international artists to present their work, interact with each other and the audience, exchange ideas, and explore a new artistic network.

What we offer to selected artists:
•       300€ per show, 400€ for two shows (if on the same day), or 500€ for two shows (if on separate days)
•       Discounted rates for stays in festival partner hotels (we are also exploring accommodation sponsorships)
•       Transportation to and from the airport in Istanbul
•       A meal on the day of your performance
•       Venue, technical support*, and promotion
•       Free access to shows, workshops, and parties in the festival (if not sold out)

Asistent manager

Căutăm asistent manager pentru următorul proiect pe care îl pregătim: programul multianual Transcendental. Femei privind lumea. Dacă ți-ar plăcea să facem echipă în următorii doi ani, mai avem un loc în echipă.

Cu ce ne poți ajuta

  • Suport administrativ pentru managerul de proiect în implementare și decontul proiectului
  • Pregătirea documentelor și materialelor necesare
  • Gestionarea emailurilor, apelurilor și a fluxului de informații
  • Participarea la întâlniri și redactarea minutei
  • Implicarea în activități operative legate de evenimente

Cerințe

Programul Transcendental. Femei privind lumea explorează relația dintre gen și diverse forme ale spiritualității contemporane. Vom oferi burse pentru artiste multidisciplinare care vor dezvolta lucrări din zona artelor vizuale și digitale, precum și realizarea unui spectacol de teatru inspirat de piesa „Când eram mică voiam să fiu sfântă”. Creațiile vizuale vor fi prezentate într-o expoziție la Rezidența9, iar spectacolul de teatru va fi prezentat publicului la Teatrul Masca, în regim de co-producție.

Ne dorim să întâlnim viziuni clare, abordări personale și propuneri care aduc perspective relevante epocii noastre.

Un nou început de an înseamnă și noi provocări, iar acest open call este o invitație la dialog și colaborare.

MUZICĂ ȘI (DIA)FILM – Call regizori și producători scurtmetraje

Concursul se adresează tuturor regizorilor și producătorilor de scurtmetraje (studenți sau
absolvenți de cicluri universitare de specialitate) cu cetățenie română, care până la data de 15 iulie
2026 nu vor fi împlinit vârsta de 36 ani.

Pot fi înscrise în concurs producții narative, poetice sau experimentale deja realizate, cu o durată
cuprinsă între 7 și 15 minute, care să nu conțină muzică adăugată. Producțiile pot conține elemente
de sound design, dialoguri și inserții muzicale care sunt absolut necesare narativului. Fiecare
concurent poate înscrie în competiție o singură producție.

Activitățile proiectului vor încuraja prezența regizorilor la repetițiile ansamblurilor muzicale, la
cine-concerte și susținerea unei prelegeri împreună cu artiști ai proiectului (compozitori, regizori,
interpreți).

Documentele solicitate și filmul, în format digital (link privat de vizionare tip Vimeo/Youtube)
vor fi transmise pe adresa asociatia.sound.borders@gmail.com până la data de 7 februarie 2026,
ora 23:59 (ora României). Titlul e-mail-ului va fi „Pentru selecția Muzică și (dia)film- secțiunea
scurtmetraje”

FEST  New Directors | New Films Festival – Pitching Forum

FEST – PITCHING FORUM 2026

    Feature Films – Accepts feature film projects in early development seeking financing or international co-productions, as well as projects in post-production looking for financing or post-production services;

    Short Films – Accepts short film projects in any development phase, from concept to post-production, looking for financing, international co-productions or post-production services;

    Series –  Accepts series projects in any development phase, from concept to post-production, looking for financing, international co-productions or post-production services.

The Event is open to experienced and emerging artists. There is no age limitation.

The film projects can be of all genres and filmmaking techniques, including fiction, documentary, animation and experimental films. The main selection criteria will be the artistic merit of the project, its estimated potential for success, and the capacity to attract the necessary funding.

Deadlines:

  • early bird: January 19 th 2025
  • regular fee: March 30th 2026
  • late fee: April 06th 2026

Florina International Film Festival (FIFF)

Τhis February marks the debut of the Florina International Film Festival (FIFF) in Greece, a two-day celebration dedicated to the art of short storytelling. Over the course of the weekend, the festival will showcase a diverse selection of films from around the world — day one dedicated to thought-provoking documentaries that explore real lives and urgent truths, and day two focuses on fiction films, highlighting bold voices and innovative storytelling.. As a new festival, our mission is to create a vibrant meeting point for filmmakers and audiences alike — a space where emerging independent creators can share their vision, connect with peers, and inspire conversation through cinema.

Rules & Terms

  • All films must be submitted with English subtitles (if in a different language).
  • All films must have been made in or after 2024.
  • Films must not exceed 30 minutes.
  • Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.
  • By submitting to us, you give us consent and right to screen your film in front of a live audience, and, under special circumstances, online screening.
  • Official Selection: All the nominated films selected for screening will be notified via email and are a contender for an award in their category.
  • Award Winners: Chosen from the Nominations (which includes the Official Selection).
  • We may promote clips from your film on social media, based on the press kits you provide us with.
  • We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. All filmmakers will be informed about any changes through email and our online platforms.
  • We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.
  • We do not accept partial screeners, trailers, or screener links that require access other than password protected links.
  • Any technical issues with the submitted films are 100% the responsibility of the filmmakers. If, at the time of judging, your video file doesn’t work or doesn’t have English subtitles (if in a language other than English), it will be automatically rejected, without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP if there are any issues with the submission process, and a solution will be found.
  • We cannot provide refunds.
  • By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.
